Biography : How to describe one's self without seeming self serving and vain? Well, I'll start off with the simplest things. I'm 6'5" tall, weigh approximately 190 lbs soaking wet, my hair is normally a dark brown, going grey around the ears. My normal expression is somewhat apathetic, though I will smile if given good reason to. I wear glasses, the frames are the small rounded rectangle type, and without them I could be considered legally blind. What do I normally wear? Let's see - Black jeans, if I'm working I'm wearing a white or blue button down shirt, if not I'm wearing a black t-shirt with either a game or a band name on the front. If it's chilly I wear a black Lands' End jacket and possibly a hand knit sweater. For footwear, I generally wear whatever is comfortable, and it's a good thing that I'm not picky about style or color, as there's very little variation on either when you wear size 15.
What do I like doing with my 'spare' time you say? Well, lets see - I go on the internet and find interesting looking web comics, I log onto Furry Muck and do some serious role playing, as well as just have alot of fun at the Kenya Battle Dojo [t kbd]. I also look for ideas to use in my web-site, trying to find tweaks which will make it better and stand out from the rest. I also semi-regularly visit MacStorm which brings alot of unusual people together to discuss a variety of subjects.
I recently graduated from Cittone Institute, where I learned how to program in HTML and Java along with VBscript, JavaScript, SQL and XML. While I appreciate the teachings that I've received at this institution, I cannot reccommend it to anyone else, mainly because of the bulshit and aggrivation that I went through. I realize that the school is limited in what it can teach, but it would have been nice if the students could learn with the most current software available.
Recently I've started working at Wild Birds Unlimited, which caters to the hobby of outdoor birdfeeding / birdwatching. Most of what my job entails is carrying the 20 - 25 lb bags of the various varieties of birdseed out to the customer's cars. Though I also go rummaging around in the stock shelves for matches to what the customer is interested up on the sales floor(s), which is quite entertaining at times, trying to differentiate the finishes on the wind chimes we sell.
